In my devotions the other night, I was reading in Luke 17. When I got to verses 5 and 6, it struck me different then it ever has before.
"The apostles said to the Lord, 'Increase our faith!' And the Lord said, 'If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you." -Luke 17:5-6
Always before I had read that and said, "Yes Lord, please increase my faith!" However, this time God was saying to me, "Don't ask for more faith, use the faith you already have." This was a totally different way of thinking about it for me. Don't ask for more, use what you already have.
